About this blog

This blog is dedicated to all those who wish to think of a better developed world through better developed people, those who wish to share their experience with others and learn from them to improve human history, especially in Egypt. It gives a space for the mind to think, the soul to relax, the heart to feel, and the arm to work. Hope that beauty and serenity rest in the souls of everyone in this world instead of all the ugliness life suffers from.

The blog is planned to include (my selection of) the following:

To improve the person’s (soul and mind):

1) Art and Literature: (Mainly) Poetry, Music, and Photography

2) Words of Wisdom

3) Personal Insights

4) Personal Experiences

5) Professional Tips: Related to research, Statistics, Small and Medium Enterprises, Human Development,…and others.

To improve the society:

6) Volunteering and Community Development-Related Projects, Related Websites, and Ideas. Development in the world in general and Egypt in specific.

Contents include: personal reflections, reviews and highlights on existing efforts (including translations of non-English items), news of upcoming or recent events in any of the above fields.

Hey Ms.Samaa!
Im Nadine . We met at … a few days ago.
I just wanted to tell you that I think that the blog is extremely
useful , especially for freshmen like us who are , uh,
relatively under experienced in the self developement area :D .

Anyhow , it would be really useful for us if you compiled a list of
courses to take, NGOs, wworkshops or simulation models to join, anything that you’ve attended or joined before that may help us in improving ourselves.

Hope to see you very soon,
Nadine

Dear Nadine,
Thanks a lot for your comments. They are very helpful and I will surely take them into consideration.
Concerning the list of NGOs: You can check the links added in my blogroll. Several of them list some useful NGOs as well as other links that offer some important info about the civil society in Egypt.
Best wishes,
Samaa
